Les came to the rescue at short notice when I was let down by another engineer. I told him on the phone what the other engineer had diagnosed. He turned up the next day 20 minutes early with the replacement part. When Les actually looked at the boiler, he found the diagnosis was wrong. The part was not required. Les was honest and told me this and didn’t charge me for the part, or fix it for the sake of it. He still mended the boiler, and it cost me a lot less than I was expecting.
